A Birthday Gift is a Gift to Baltimore City Students

The Barbara A. Green Scholarship Fund A Project of University of Baltimore Foundation

It's Julius Green's 60th birthday! Thank you for choosing to contribute to the University of Baltimore and a cause very close to his heart--the Threshold, Inc. Barbara A. Green Scholarship, which is named in honor of his mother.

Barbara A. Green dedicated her life to the improvement of Baltimore City and its residents. Her involvement in local organizations, volunteerism, and commitment to Baltimore led her to public service and working for the Board of Municipal and Zoning Appeals and the City Pension Board.

She championed the rights of women and people of color, but she was especially passionate about educating Baltimore's children. Because she was such a staunch activist for public education, the Threshold Inc. Barbara A. Green Scholarship was established in her memory in 2016.

The scholarships supports deserving University of Baltimore students who have graduated from a Baltimore City high school.

Your gift not only honors Mrs. Green, you are making a positive impact on the Baltimore City youth who will benefit from your generosity.
